After checking out a few restaurants near to the Rouen Mercure we settled on the Ariana because we liked the look of the menu. The staff were super-friendly and made us all welcome. The menu was relatively limited, but we managed to select something that everyone liked (including my three daughters - 4, 10 & 13). When the food came we were thrilled. Each slab has been carefully assembled with a wonderful blend of flavors. The meat (all of which had been cooked on a skewer) was tasty and lightly seasoned and the sauces were fine. The service was good and the explanation .... or I should say the translation.... was spot on. The meal was amazing and hit the spot for 2 weary travelers seeking excellent food.

The food is okay but it does not deserve the excellent comments it deserves. The rice is undercooked and the sambosas too dry.The staff was rude saying "whadya want ?" to me when I entered the restaurant.We also didn't get a menu.I wouldn't recommend it as a first experience with afghan food.I would give it 2,5/5 but I can't.

We had lunch there last Monday, no complaints! The manager was very welcoming and helpful, the dishes were delicious and generous
We celebrated the Persian New Year in this restaurant, they were very friendly and accessible and the dish was very good too.
