I went to this restaurant with friends for coffee this morning. The owner/manager asked everyone at 11am to observe a two-minute silence for Armistice. While the customers remained silent, the manager went into the kitchen and the staff continued talking loudly at the counter. It was clear from looking around that everyone was thinking the same thing - it was extremely disrespectful. We were shocked and couldn't believe it. If you request that your customers respect a moment of silence, the least you can expect is for your staff to do the same. It was rude and disrespectful.
Great menu for brunch/lunch, fresh and well presented food, reasonable prices, good coffee, friendly accommodating staff, lots of seating inside and out, festoon lighting along the sheltered outdoor area , gorgeous decor, lots of pretty flowers. What more could you want from a cafe for a spot of lunch?! Look forward to returning.
Had a lovely coffee here today. It was lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy. It was family friendly and the staff were very polite and helpful. Will definitely go back again. The coffee was a little pricier than chains but nice to support a smaller business.
During my shopping trip in Bridgend, I stopped by this restaurant and was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. I ordered a flat white with soya milk and a huge slice of luxurious fruit cake. It was absolutely delicious!

Everything I've eaten there has been cooked very well, and exactly to taste if you just ask. I'm so fussy with coffee that they provide hot milk with a shot of coffee on the side. Nothing's too much trouble!
This cafe is always busy and is a great place to meet for coffee. The prices are a little expensive. For example a sandwich is about £5 (depending on the filling) with a garnish of crisps.
I had a wonderful coffee while visiting Bridgend town last week. I really liked the new decor of the restaurant! The outdoor seating with beautiful flowers was an added bonus.
Had a cooked breakfast here today. Unfortunately the plates were cold so our food cooked right down quickly. The staff all looked quite fed up.

Lovely wee treat bumped into a work colleague. Good menu choice. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Relaxing atmosphere not too busy.
Menu very much reduced and very expensive £24 for 3 sandwiches and 3 cans of pop. Shame as there is a lovely outdoor seating area.
