This was our first visit, and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Despite the constant flow of customers, it never felt crowded inside. The variety of food offered was impressive, and everything we tried was delicious! The portion sizes were generous enough to nearly feed two people. Overall, this is a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal and unwind!
The cafe opens at 8 a.m., while the restaurant starts serving at 9:30 a.m. on weekdays. Phoenicia is situated at the corner of the same shopping center. They serve some of the best Shawarma in Houston, with tender and juicy meat. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!
Great restaurant for Middle Eastern fare. The shawarma and falafel sandwiches are traditionally prepared. Many other dishes recall tastes of the Mediterranean. Plus there are a few western touches as well. Dine-in is counter service. Take-out and delivery are available as well. Clean and well maintained tables and bathrooms.
I was excited to see they opened a drive through it’s NOT busy inside or in the line…no big orders passed through the window yet over ten minutes in line after placing order behind 2 car and now I’m still waiting!!! Be ready to wait about 15 minutes during lunchtime, as the restaurant was quite busy. I ordered the lamb shawarma, and it was definitely worth the wait! The seafood was just okay, but the cauliflower side was fantastic. However, I found the lemonade to be a bit too sour for my taste.
The food was genuinely authentic, and you can really sense the quality and history that this business embodies. The owner was actively working there, which added a personal touch to the experience!
Finger licking Kibbah great Lebanese Kibbah and don’t forget the Shawerma enjoy the taste. The staff there are cheerful and amazing working tirelessly. One my favorite place in lovely Houston.
