After a disappointing Italian lunch in nearby Westfield, we stopped by Arthouse for a quick drink to wash away the greasy oily calamari taste. It was nearly empty with only a couple of tables taken. This was the first time I visited here in many years and was quite impressed by interior decoration of the main bar. The chandeliers, wall paintings, and large plants beautifully filled up the space and the high ceiling room didn't look sparse or cold at all. Wine list wasn't too bad either with a number of choices from New Zealand and Australia.
I am glad we got re-acquainted with Arthouse, can be another after work drinks venue....

Ich arbeite von dem Arthouse über die Straße und es war mein Gehen. WAR. Ich war ein wiederkehrender Kunde, weil ich mit ihren Steakhouse-Pommes besessen war. Zu meiner Bestürzung hat sich das Menü kürzlich geändert und ersetzt sie mit Shoestring-Pommes!
Das Steak-Sandwich war so groß wie immer, aber das Essen wäre mit tollen Pommes unglaublich gewesen. Die Shoestring-Pommes waren auch ziemlich gut, aber nicht so erstaunlich wie die Steakhouse-Pommes.
Enttäuscht. Wird wahrscheinlich nicht so oft wiederkommen.
(Ich liebe Kartoffeln / Pommes wirklich, also schüttelte das wirklich meine Welt ????)
I work across the road from the ArtHouse and it was my go to. WAS. I was a returning customer because I was obsessed with their steakhouse fries. To my dismay, the menu recently changed and replaced them with shoestring fries!
The steak sandwich was great as always, however the meal would've been amazing with great fries. The shoestring fries were pretty good too but not as amazing as the steakhouse fries.
Disappointed. Probably won't come back as often now.
(I really love potatoes/fries so this really shook my world ????)

After having lunch at jimmys next door decided to go for a beer .I have never been to hotel before but will return and have lunch next time .Great find in the city ,very cold beer ,great service ,and nice surroundings..Looked at the meals going past us and decided we have to try .They all looked great
We booked a section for pre dinner drinks for a group of girls (about 15). The setting of the Graffiti bar (up stairs at the Arthouse hotel) is gorgeous and classy. We were well looked after and had a very nice time. It is a great space and is good for large groups.
War großartig, bis ich die Hälfte eines attraktiven viktorianischen Gebäudes entdeckte, in einem Poker-Maschinen-Salon umgewandelt wurde. Sehr traurigend, wird nie zurückgehen.
Das Dekor ist atemberaubend. Viel Platz mit 3+ Bars mit verschiedenen Themen und Stimmungen. Im Obergeschoss für Cocktails, Hauptbar für Büro Bier, Frontbar für Gespräche.

The decor is stunning. Plenty of space with 3+ bars with different themes and moods. Upstairs for cocktails, main bar for office beers, front bar for conversations.
Was great until I discovered half of an attractive Victorian building has now been turned into a poker machine parlour. Very saddening, will never go back.
