We held our Christmas party at the Imperial and it was a great experience. The venue was full of character and was able to comfortably accommodate our group of 100 cyber specialists while still adhering to social distancing measures. We had the upstairs function room all to ourselves, complete with plenty of seating, our own bar, and lots of natural light. Before the event, we organized an 'amazing race' and were able to showcase the shots on the pub's large screen in the function area, which was a nice added touch. This charming pub located near the Chauval Cinema and Town Hall is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal before or after catching a show or movie. The food is excellent, especially the pulled pork nachos which were delicious. We will definitely be coming back to try the Sunday roast.
Love this pub, one of my favourites! The staff are friendly and fantastic, the managers are super helpful and always help out with any problems. Great rustic, Aussie pub feel, none like it in the area. Also the new kitchen menu is a great addition.

Hidden gem! One of the best steaks Ive eaten, all meat bought straight from the farm. Reasonable prices, very friendly staff and in the heart of paddington! Missing a bit of vibe but they have everything to change that!
This is one of my favorite pubs in Sydney. The pies that they serve over the counter are simply amazing. There are plenty of cozy seating areas to choose from, aside from the open main bar.
EDIT 2016: This store is now under new management, and the before 7pm deal is now $12, which puts it a little out of my too-lazy-to-cook budget.
