Cute little coffee spot right below where my friends and I were staying. I was looking for amazing coffee and a quick bite and Caffe Artigiano exceeded my expectations!I got a 20oz Iced Caramel Mocchiato with Almond Milk and a Breakfast Croissant and it was just the perfect morning coffee and light meal! Their Pain du Chocolate is amazing and perfect Dark Chocolate sweetness but the flakiness is out of this world! Will definitely coming back! The staff member who took our order was unfortunately very ill, coughing and barely able to speak. When we mentioned that we had driven all the way to Whistler for hot chocolate, she responded somewhat incredulously. After taking our order, she brought out our drinks, which looked exactly the same and were nothing like what was portrayed in the promotional materials. To make matters worse, the sides that are a key part of the hot chocolate festival experience were missing. When we inquired about it, the barista casually informed us, "We don’t have the ingredients for that, and it’s basically the same thing anyway. Don't worry, this is just as good." My husband and I chose to have a coffee at the place last Sunday and we regret it. Waste of money!The food is as always, but the atmosphere is dull, gloomy and dirty. Urgh!!!The staff were extremely rude! Two young girls and a yong chap with a cold face and tone of voice that makes you feel unwanted customers! And despite my feeling when i said “thank you” they didn’t respond! ??Dude! If you don’t like your job just fake it or change it! Don’t treat ppl like that! Look around and learn from other shops! that’s not the standard level of customer service !I won’t come back and definitely won’t recommend it. We had many options and mistakenly chose this place!
The food was incredibly enticing. While the beverage selection was limited to coffee and tea, the dishes were truly delicious. The plain coffee was flavorful and quite satisfying. My daughter ordered a chocolate croissant and hot chocolate, and she found both to be excellent, particularly appreciating the hot chocolate's perfect temperature. The $13.50 soggy baguette sandwich was surprisingly hard to digest. The coffee was just mediocre. Overall, it was a disappointing experience compared to their usual standards.
Ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and it was 75 percent whipped cream.
