What a wonderful place! The owner welcomed us, brought us our drinks, all the while engaging us in good conversation. After ordering the roasted lamb (for 3 of us) and a salad, the chef came out and suggested the sardines with tomato to start. I wasn't sure about that, but they were amazing dense, rich, and flavorful. Not like american sardines at all! And the roast was fabulous, great jus, falling off the bone, amazing flavor. The owner even showed us the wood oven which was really neat. Overall a very memorable lunch, great people, and amazing food. Gracias!!
El lugar agradable. El servicio bueno. La comida buena también, de sabor y presentación. Mis 3 estrellas son por la relación entre precio y cantidad. Las cosas están muy buenas, pero el precio me parece excesivo, en concreto de la ensalada mixta, de la morcilla y del cochinillo. La morcilla eran 8 rodajas por 14€. La ensalada mixta 16. El cochinillo 55€ para 2 personas muy escaso. Conclusión: comida buena, servicio bueno, pero las cantidades pequeñas para el precio que tiene.
Restaurante que ofrece una cocina exquisita. El ambiente es totalmente familiar y los dueños son encantadores. Comimos el mejor cochinillo que hemos probado nunca. Simplemente perfecto! Además el excelente vino que Moisés nos recomendó no podía maridar mejor con tal manjar. La próxima vez probaremos el lechazo que al parecer es buenísimo! Nuestra experiencia fue un verdadero placer!m y lo recomendamos al 100%! Gracias!!
Expectativas cumplidas; el mejor lechazo que he comido últimamente. El local es acogedor y el servicio bueno. Sigo sin entender por qué todos los vinos tienen el mismo precio; los del año 17,50 Euros, los crianzas 26,50. ?? De postre un sorbete de mandarina muy rico. Alrededor de 50 euros/pax sólo ensalada, lechazo, botella de vino, sorbete y café. Merece la pena. Descubrí el Manteca jóven y todo un hallazgo.

Great place in the shadow of the penafiel castle to try Lechazo Al Horno, the regional specialty. Great wines and the service from friendly attentive staff could not make you feel more at home. The famous Ribera Del Duero wines go great with your meal. Could not recommend it more. It definitely merece la pena .
