I feel the current owner is actively trying to run this place into the ground in the hopes someone will offer to buy it from him. I've been going to this place off and on for over 10 year and the difference between what the previous owners did and thecurrent owner is like night and day. Sandwich fillings are great but it?s a shame the bagels are terrible. The actual bagel is hard and very dense even after toasting so when you bite into it everything pulls apart. The jalapeño bagel had no flavor other than metallic ? ?I sawpeppers but couldn?t taste them. I thought maybe it was just me because of the size of the crowd on the weekends but beingflavorless is consistent with a lot of the other poor reviews. Who the hell made the recipe? If you want a good quality bagelsandwich just go to Blend Coffee Bar?they unfortunately won?t have the large variety of sandwiches but if you actually use yourtaste buds then go here in stead.
I've been visiting this restaurant for nearly ten years. The previous owners truly cared about the quality of the food, and their bagels were the best you could find in Virginia. However, now the bagels always seem to be a day old, hard, and lacking in flavor, with the overall quality of the food sitting at about a 3/10. We come by occasionally, hoping they've taken the reviews to heart and improved, but unfortunately, it remains the same. If another bagel shop were to open in Ashburn, it would likely thrive, as the current establishment isn't meeting expectations.
Outrageous pricing at its worst! I can't believe I was charged $9 for bacon bits, egg, and cheese on a croissant! I've lived in Ashburn my entire life and I've watched this place change management multiple times over the years. The prices are outrageous for what you receive. I used to always order the same croissant, but not anymore. Just because this is Ashburn, we shouldn't be taken advantage of. For $9, I expect at least two actual strips of bacon, not just a pile of greasy bits from low-quality bacon. Asheburn deserves better!

I?ve been coming here for nearly a decade. The previous owners ran this place with lots of care and attention to the food quality. Bagels were the best you could get in VA. Now, the bagels are always a day old and hard, lack flavor, and the overallquality of the food is 3/10. We come every so often hoping they have read the reviews and get back on track, but, sadly it justis what it is now. If there were another bagel shop in Ashburn they would suffer greatly as this is the only bagel shop andthat?s why people still go.
Highway Robbery at its finest! 9 dollars for bacon crumbs, egg and cheese on a croissant!!! I?ve lived in Ashburn all my life and I?ve seen this place open up and change management over the years. The prices are now ridiculous for what you get. I?vealways ordered the same croissant.. NO more. Just because this is Ashburn we should not be victimized. For 9 dollars I shouldsee at-least two REAL bacon strips, Not a bunch of fatty crumbs of the cheapest bacon. Ashburn bagel, DO BETTER! Booooo
Horrible experience. I called them to place an order and I was told can you come in and order. It 's too confusing . What is so confusing about 3 bagels and 3 eggs? I almost didn 't want to go after that but went there anyway because the reviews were good. I go there and order scrambled eggs. They gave me an omelette so I went back and told them it 's not scrambled the guy kept saying it is scrambled and then he laughed at me. Am I missing something? Either way, I will never
In my opinion, I would not consider these New York bagels . I was hoping for (expecting? a nice, hearty, chewy bagel, but instead got something that was hard and crispy on the outside. Was there at 7am, so expected them to be fresh. Not sure if they were just baked too long, or stale, or something else about how they are made or stored. But the end result was a bagel that was not to my taste. Hope your experience is better.
