Shocking experience. Everything is old and ripping off. The most shocking thing is there is a live DJ right under your room turning the volume to maximum during 11pm??!!! You can literailly feel the scream and banging all over yoyr room. As a 4 star hotel would you consider your visitor who paid more than £200 a night and just expect a quiet place for resting? The worst experience tbf and just ruined the perfect trip. If you would like to look for a place to sleep and take a rest in Cornwall, even sleeping in a train station would be 10 times better than staying in this hotel . Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
Very good hotel. Excellent staff, always happy yo help and smiling. Rooms clean and tidy. Very good mattress that helps you to have a proper rest. Bar with good range of alcohol. Luxury tables and chairs. Gym, swimming pool, conference room etc. Very good menu with range of different food. Breakfast 5*. The hotel itself is a charming Georgian retreat, featuring lovely rooms and spa amenities. There's a high-quality restaurant and bar, along with several comfortable lounges for relaxation. My only concern is the location—Redruth leaves much to be desired. In fact, it’s worse than that, but I won’t go into detail. If this hotel were located in St. Ives, it would likely be the top hotel in Cornwall. Overall: Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 1
Stayed here 4 times now, the staff are amazing, the room was massive over looking the garden with a really comfy and sumptuous bed, the evening meals and breakfasts are top quality and perfectly cooked, not tried the pool or the spa yet, maybe next time. I had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant. The food and drinks offered great value for the price. As for the service, I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5. The hotel stands out for its luxurious atmosphere, romantic ambiance, and excellent value.
Rooms: Try to avoid the dog-friendly ground floor rooms in the annex if possible, as this building lacks the charm and feel of the main hotel and was somewhat disappointing. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 3
