Firstly, we were warmly welcomed by the owner who is extremely friendly and was happy to see us. We were seated with our 2 dogs and 2 bowls of water were immediately given to them, a nice touch. We all ordered the full English and at £10 a pop, was extremely good value as the breakfast is huge and absolutely value for money. I ordered a coffee with mine and the coffee here would put some of the High St coffee shops to shame. We can't fault the food or the service and the warm welcome and i can see us returning to this pub time and again. Thank you
We always have one of our holiday meals here when stopping at Caddys Corner. We have never been disappointed. The food is amazing every time, and they always look after you with fabulous service. My other half and I visited the golden lion inn for breakfast this morning, it was absolutely beautiful. We went along with out dog, who got a treat and a bowl of water. Friendly, well staffed, good food, wide selection of coffees and drinks. Good for wedding receptions. Large parking area. Sunday roast very disappointing, vedge undercooked , gravy watery ,large roast Yorkshire pudding filled the plate with tiny amount of undercooked broccoli , and small amount of carrot and cabbage , 3tiny potatoes , Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
