My boyfriend and I went here and had some entrees. They were cheeseburger dumplings, karaage chicken, and fried macaroni and cheese balls. Umm, they were delicious!! (See pic with 3 entrees on the board). The cheeseburger dumplings and the mac & cheese balls were my fave out of these three. Next, I got the braised lamb shanks with carrots and garlic mashed and my boyfriend had the scotch fillet with garlic mashed and we had a side of onion rings. My gosh, the lamb shanks were so tender. Quality and taste of the food can't be faulted. Sadly they will not substitute items, charge for vegetables or salad the portions are way too small. I ordered a lamb shank it came with parsnip purée and caramelised onion. I asked to swap the purée for the mash. Was told no. The shank was $38- when I had it 1 month ago here it was a huge plate full. 2 shanks beans mash gravy and heaps of sauce. Well I decided to pay the $9- for the mash instead of having the purée and said no to the onions. As you can see by the photo that is what I got for $47- yes I was still hungry. A lovely looking restaurant. We are here because we were staying at the hotel. The atmosphere was nice, and the view lovely. The menu was varied and catered for most tastes. Our son had the kids' fish and chips and received one small piece of fish and a handful of chips. Yes it only cost $12 but the portion size wasn't enough for a 5 year old. Hubby enjoyed the pulled pork and slaw burger. My chicken Parma was barely bigger than the palm of my hand and came with a handful of chips and a few green leaves - very disappointing for $34. We'll definitely stay at the hotel again, but wouldn't bother to eat at the restaurant.
My husband and I decided to try Atura Roadhouse Bar and Grill for our regular Wednesday night date. What a find it was, the food was mouth wateringly delicious and the salt and pepper calamari in particular was one of the best I have ever eaten. The service was polite, prompt and fast, though they left a nice amount of time between entree and main courses. The atmosphere was lovely, we really liked the look and feel and no loud music which a lot of restaurants have, so we had no problem talking to each other. Demi the waitress provides incredible customer service every time i dine there and is a large factor of my return visits. They altered a dish to suit my preference and the atmosphere is enjoyable.Being part of a hotel it can get noisy but this little hidden gem is one of my favourites.Food cost can be pricey but all in all its worth it for the food quality and customer service provided.Will be back again!
Very modern looking and it had a nice feel to it. Service was a little slow but we were there as it was opening. Cocktail was nice. We both had a burger which was delicious and nicely plated. Salted caramel sundae took a while to arrive but was sooo good. Definitely a better choice than the diner at the drive-in!
Meals were expensive but they were very nice. We're only asked when we were seated if we wanted a drink then never asked again. Was very slow, we went about 7.30pm & restaurant didn't seem that busy - only a few tables & meals took a very long time to come out.

Service was non existent. Food portion was minute 10 pieces of ravioli in main meal. Coffee was warm . Would not go back.
