The staff is amazingly friendly and will advise you accordingly and take a sharing platter. (Price/Quality is really correct).... Really don't be ashamed to tell them you don't know wines and that you want to try something.BUT... it is NOT a diner place, really go there to enjoy few sips (or bottles) of...
A wonderful little resto with great homemade food and perfect selection of wine. With just a few plates to choose from daily, you are assured freshness and in-house preparation. Don't miss out on some of the absolute best steak tartare to be found anywhere. Great selection of wines that are not normally easily found. The cafe/tea gourmand is also not to be missed since all the yummy treats are made fresh daily and are as tasty as can be. Wonderful service with a smile (a rarity in the area of France)! Highly recommended for lunch or a light dinner and the price is right!
This is a great place for very French atmosphere. The food is simple but very good, with rooftiles laden with cheese and charcuterie. The wine list is extensive, with selections to please any palate. But the real joy here is the atmosphere. Valerie and her boys have maintained the charisma of Christophe in the restaurantwhich he started.
Located right beside the market square, this is a great spot for a drink and snack, particularly on a warm day or evening.The place is very lively, with a happy atmosphere and excellent staff, who were not phased by my moderate French.There is an excellent wine list and their snack plates are good quality and value.

Lovely wine choices and the staff are always really happy to help advice. On the food front its charcuterie so if your up for platters of meats, cheeses & breads to have with your wine then thats great.Gets very busy & VERY HOT (even in winter)! Dog friendly so we're always happy here.
One of my favourite places to have lunch in St Germain. The best steak tartare I have ever had and their cafe gourmand is just right! 3 different miniature desserts with excellent coffee. Great wine list! Service is always excellent. But you have to reserve now as it is so popular!
This used to be our saturday lunch spot. Great beef tartare and a very small selection of homemade dishes, otherwise cheese platters and dried meat platters (charcuteries). Good selection of wines with an excellent price/quality ratio
A very warm and friendly place. No fuss but a great attention given to customers food and wines. The menu is very limited which is a good sign, it is all fresh and homely. The wine list is very affordable and open minded.

We avoid restaurants with long menus; this is the opposite: for or so plats, all superbly conceived and prepared. Splendid service, a favorite with locals. Great lunch.
It's a great little wine bar, quite unusual according to my experience.
