This is a tiny town with a huge reputation. Make sure that you book as potential diners were turned away. It seats only abut people with only one, amazing waitress. Firstly, the waitress took the orders for people, three courses each, without needing...to write anything down. And she got it right! The food was amazing I had marinated asparagus, very tender and deliciously herby, guinea fowl with spelt, again with rich flavours, and a vanilla slice unlike any other I have previously eaten. The whole experience was memorable.
On Sundays, it is the only place to be, and, as a result, almost all of its approximately covers were taken. But we were greeted warmly and offered a choice from (now apparently the standard) three-course five-choice menu. Beautifully cooked and presented traditional French...cuisine. Pre-starter amuse-bouches were delightful. Chocolate bomb dessert to die for! I particularly enjoyed the local specialist beer. Was it called Or de Beauce'? I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. Lovely!
We had dinner here on Sunday and Monday this week. Excellent traditional French food with good ingredients cooked imaginatively. Attentive service and friendly, cosy atmosphere as clearly a high proportion of the clientele were locals. Highly recommended.
Nice and quiet location with a good home make food! I was expected more but I get (only) a good food. I little bit expensive for what you get but all in all a lovely dinner in a very French location! Fish of the day...better than the supreme de pintade.

Excellent food, reasonable prices, faultless, friendly service and good location all combine to make this a good choice. We stayed at the Hotel du Cygne literally across the street. We’d return in a heartbeat. The rabbit terrine was a standout.
Only a small place but had a varied menu. We had onion tartlet to start my husband chose the beef and I had the pork for mains. Both were melt in the mouth and full of flavour. The desserts were small but delicious.
From the two delightful amuses bouches, through starters, main and dessert, everything was so tasty. The waiter, who handled the whole small restaurant of tables, was most pleasant. Thumbs up.
Très bon accueil, service parfait ni trop long ni trop rapide.. plats délicieux et bien présentés. Très bon rapport qualité prix.. une adresse à retenir et à conseiller !!
