Recreating the atmosphere of a traditional guingette relaxed, open air cafe bars, typically on the riverside this delightful new restaurant on the left bank of the Dordogne is well worth making a special trip just to find it. It’s a little bit out of the way, down winding country lanes, and it’s popular too, so it would be worth reserving a table in advance. Then you have a gentle summer evening, a creative menu that brings the full flavour out of local ingredients while the river rolls lazily by. I’d recommend going on a Thursday evening, when there is live music soft French jazz that complements the atmosphere perfectly.
It's been a long time since a restaurant had rained me like this, so it's worth a review! a small piece of jewellery lost in the countryside by the water, perfect for my next summer evenings. Surprising and delicious vegan plate for me that is not a custom. No comment on the rest of the menu, my friend took the same thing as me. service fast and really friendly, nice music, decor to the top broc/chic, I recommend!
