Despite looking a touch touristy from the outside, the interior and cuisine seemed to be very typical of the region, with the food being of good quality. We ate from the Menu Terroir which had a choice of local salad/terrine chevrieul starter, Sanglier stew/trout...fillets mains, local cheese/sweet choice to finish. My wife and I tried each main and starter, and then the cheese. All were well cooked and presented, and the cheeses were of good quality compared to many we have had locally. Better still there were a couple of amuse bouche, flaky pastries and a delicious mini fondue with bacon. The ambience is a little over-posh, but the service was great and well timed. We will return.
