Mathieu welcomes you in what is probably the best spot in Foncine. Ask for a table on the terrace to attend the sunset while enjoying the famous cooked milk pig on Friday, really nice. The map is balanced, for all tastes without offering 200 different dishes, this approach I like. Theme evening on Thursday night, I didn't participate so no opinion. I advise you this place, you will not be disappointed.
On hiking on the Foncine side for the day, we went to eat Chez Valentin. A little world, but the waitress informs us that it is possible to have a place if we wait a bit. After about 15min, we are installed and the service runs. Simple but very good dish, succulent pies and a great waitress! Only for service, we congratulate her for her professionalism! A big bravo to her! We advise and return!
Stay cool. The boss was alone in the kitchen and in the room, which requires a certain agility, even if the service was calm. No waiting, a dynamic and warm service. There's a nice little word and a little attention for everyone. We almost want to make a big tab and chat with other customers so the atmosphere is relaxed. Meals very well, generous portions, reasonable prices. Beautiful discovery
