Checked this place out because we cycled past it the day before... otherwise would probably never have bothered. Unassuming and unpretentious were the words that popped into my head as we made our way to a table, but ever effort had been made to make the place nice. We sat outside on a blistering hot day, under plenty of cover, on the roadside, but maybe 3 cars went past in an hour so not busy. We ordered pizza, moules and nuggets for Jnr. Moules Frites and nuggets are difficult to get wrong and they were good. I've had pizza all over the world and honestly this was top 10, a triumph. Were passing at lunchtime so stopped here. It was half full - half and half French and non-French. We only wanted something simple so both of us went for omelette frites. We were asked how we wanted them cooked! A first for us. We went for the French way, nice and soft in the middle and that's how they came. The chips were well cooked as well. Service was good and friendly and prices reasonable. Recommended.
