This was recommended by owners of accommodation, where we regularly stay. It is located a few miles away, in a village up in the hills of Hautes Cotes de Nuits. Due to the weather unable to sit outside in the attractive courtyard.We had a thoroughly decent Sunday lunch. The restaurant was full, we had booked a table by phone - the owner speaks fair English, certainly better than my limited French.Short but interesting menu. Food is simply cooked, with good quality ingredients, to an above French bistro standard. Good cheese & above average coffee. Wine list has a small selection, but of real interest & value. It includes a white 'DRC' (not Montrachet!) for those in the know.Service was welco...

The kitchen is made home with fresh products (we have even been entitled to vegetable garden). a gourmet and simple cuisine. a wide selection of wines. We spent an unforgettable moment! warm accuei, exceptional dishes. remarkable Burgundy wine, recommended by the house. It's really worth stopping, in a relaxed atmosphere that makes it better to appreciate the excellence of the kitchen.
The food is magic and organic, especially the Oeufs pochés à l'époisse which cannot be found elsewhere! The ambiance is great and On top the owner is very welcoming. This is just the perfect place!
Je voelt je hier super welkom!!! De gastheer neemt tijd voor iedereen. Eten is gewoon heerlijk. Tip: als je met 2 bent en je neemt menu l'auberge, neem dan steeds beide en wissel tussendoor!!!
