The lower floor Asian Tapas is under the same ownership as the French restaurant upstairs (Au Trotthus). I mistakenly wrote our review under Au Trotthus since that is the name that appears on the Visa statement.Let me just repeat that the food, atmosphere, wine and service were all superb. We enjoyed meeting the Japanese sushi chef who was very skilled as well as friendly. We plan a return visit in October 2017 and Asian Tapas will not be missed.
We hadn't booked and lucky, there was a table for two people. We ate very well, the dishes are hearty. My companion tasted green sauerkraut and loved it. For my account, it was pdt at the munster. For dessert, enjoyoles. I have nothing to say about the service. The late harvested grey pinot and the late harvest gewurztraminer are excellent.
A warm welcome, beautiful rooms, an enchanting card ... but a limit service or we had the carafe of water just at the end of the meal, and a fly in one of our salad ... we signal it without making a squirrel ... but at the payment of the note not an excuse, not a commercial gesture... really disappointed I will not return there
Chicken with proper Riesling, tasteful but a pity to put small peas and carrots in the Riesling cream sauce ... very good spatzle Salade vinronne good without more but the accompanying salad was damaged, oxidized. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Food fantastic, took me back to some of the great meals I had in Japan. Service friendly and helpful By far the best meal we've had in our week in Alsace so far, very very enjoyable.
Great restaurant! The boss is great, smiling and very welcoming! He made us discover specialties, and the sauerkraut was terrible. I highly recommend and thank you for this evening.
