We were delighted by the owners' initiative to make their terrace a non-smoking area during the hours of meals .cela should become the eagle in all restaurants 'I don't think it will decrease their attendance and that is just the right way. why non-smokers should stay in a restaurant with a terrace because an indisspective person sends them the smoke of their cigarette in the face. 100% non-smoking terraces here the goal has to reach. more often we see that fumeuus are largely minority but it is enough of one to incommodate everyone. This is unacceptable especially in the presence of children and pregnant women.Bravo the bollenberg for this wise decision.
I was announced a gourmet restaurant but bof for the price. we took the inspiration menu at 29.50 €, small portions. In view of the comments, I expected to be more gustative. the wines are light. Unfortunately no choice for dessert while for entry and dish, yes.Very old france for menus without prices for ladies. But with the internet, you can see the prices before coming... Positive points: several rooms so less noise, attentive staff, pretty frame, pretty table with tablecloth and white cloth towels.
Really charming this place. We had a birthday party and they folded in four to satisfy us. yes birthday around the really successful rum they really spoiled us from the beginning to the end. a delicious rum aperitif, carpacio in dish with delicious little salads, excellent homemade bread and a nice surprise for banana dessert flambée with a coconut but really excellent ice. the charming and very pro staff. great this place !!!! beautiful evening in an idyllic setting !!!! thank you
the menu is very expensive for what is proposed. for 25,50 € you have the right to have a amuse palate of melon tarragon, crudities with the meat plate in the entrance, granite to the melon again, pot to fire with still crudities and an insipid burning cream. the presentation of the dishes is non-existent. the staff is unpleasant without a smile and does not know the proposed menu. Wait, short, very bad evening.
a real disappointment during a family holiday - 85 years of my great parents - a large taboo of 17 people - the day of the father's feast last June. the price of a meal was too expensive, individually.The unreplicated plates. another nice evening at the bollenberg, as usual the staff is very pro and very pleasant. that say food that has delighted our taste buds with fresh and excellent quality products without counting the wine (their own production) that is perfect. the setting is super nice with a beautiful terrace. Since we celebrated our wedding, it's one of our favorite restaurant. See you at the bollenberg.
the hostel remains consistent with its tradition: a good Alsatian table. The reception is perfect, the smiling staff. The menu allows you to discover a palette of local flavours, no need to specify that the wine menu is at the top.... Note that I have known this house for more than 30 years. Waren dort für eine Hochzeit, es war einfach sehr gut organisiert, das Essen at vorzüglich und alleine die Lage mitten in den Weinbergen hat einen besonderen Charme!Wir haben uns dort sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur empfehlen!
Run if you like traditional cuisine. We went there about ten times, it's a dream for taste buds....All is delicious, well served irreproachable service, attentive staff, pleasant and friendly and the boss is adorable.
