We went on the spur of the moment, and honestly, there’s no better way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We ate off the a la carte menu, although the lunch menu looked interesting too. The French Onion Soup, with croutons and Gruyère cheese was delicious without being too rich and Gravadlax salad as starters and then we both had the lamb main courses. These were so tasty and the gravy was full of flavour. The vegetables, specially the potatoes were excellent. The puddings were equally delicious and I couldn’t recommend The Auberge highly enough. The decor is classy and the welcome was warm. Such a great place!
Visited the Auberge with my husband. Came highly recommended by the B&B we were staying at but we thought it was just average. I think the disappointing thing was frozen chips!! At least serve homemade chips at a lovely restaurant. 19.95 for a very average bottle of pinot. Food was nice but nothing spectacular. I doubt we would go back or recommend
Wow wow wow. Visiting Southport and passed this amazing place. We had to sit outside as we had Albert our sproodle with us (not an issue as it was sunny) Fabberlos good food would definitely recommend. We had the mid week special offer (Wednesday) night excellent value for money
We were in Southport 6 weeks ago and loved this restaurant, we just had to go back. We weren't disappointed. I had the Seabass again it is just gorgeous. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is extremely clean. So we enjoyed our meal again.

Visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the special deal on the roast dinner. The quality of the food was very good and value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive and it was well worth the visit.
I visited this evening with my partner and I we were not disappointed! The food was lovely we had steak and sea bass and they were both cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.
We had an early evening 3 course meal on a short break in early September. The choice, service and price were all excellent, we would thoroughly recommend the Auberge.
Great lunch today, fab deal; 3 courses for two (good portions) a bottle of wine £42 . Lovely staff exceptionally clean. We’ll definitely return recommend.
