My family and I went on a day trip to visit the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval . For Lunch, as we did not feel like eating in a restaurant close to the Palais because we wanted to avoid the crowd and the noise, we went to the Auberge de Chateauneuf . This restaurant is close to the Palais , around 7 min by car. On that hot and sunny day, we had lunch under the covered terrace, it was very pleasant. Regarding the meal, we tried and enjoyed very much 2 types of ravioles, and one very special burger. Instead of having a sliced bun, the burger had 2 hash browns. Each of us had a great meal ! Last but not least, the staff was lovely ! So we definitely recommand the Auberge de Chateauneuf .
the formula: a buffet of admissions with choice of dessert also in a buffet, combined with the choice between a meat and a fish for the main dish, is a very suitable solution for a quick service. And this result applies, not only to workers and employees, naturally always pressed, but also to other customers, often treated in a discriminatory way in relation to the first, in other establishments...And the service is all the more rapid as 2 waitresses, also very attentive and smiling. Moreover, what is given to eat seems very fresh and with good quantities, all for 13 €, 1/4 wine included! Finally, 2 parking spaces in the immediate vicinity allow easy parking.
traditional cuisine with ingredients from the region and the season. the ravioli was gratinated as needed, and the sauce was too good. the knight's omble was very tender, and the morilla sauce blended well with the fish. the crushed potato with brown was well balanced. After all, a cup of fresh and well-matured melon was perfect to finish this meal.
In the heart of the galaure chateauneuf centre, this hotel-restaurant offers a very affordable price, an entrance buffet, a choice of 2 dishes and a dessert buffet. In the summer, a covered terrace is set up.Very quickly, a waitress comes to inquire about the chosen dish, then each moves to the entrance buffet. The welcome is very smiling.

a nice surprise by discovering this restaurant and its beautiful terrace. a very friendly welcome, succulent dishes including the gratin of ravioli with grape varieties! very good desserts home. Everything was perfect! We'll be back with pleasure. Thank you again.
Food was not good service was slow, no attention, left alone for long periods of timeI would not recommend this place to anyone.
They absoluteley deserve their 2 Michelin stars! Tucked away in a little island on the river, this place is worth the trip.
