Awesome !!. We found ourselves at 7:45 p.m. without any restaurant open near Hauterives. We called La Châtaigneraie, about 17km away for a 20-minute drive. We were told no worries. And frankly it's worth the detour. The welcome is very friendly and warm from the waiter and the owner. The setting is pleasant and we ate really well for a very reasonable price. Don’t hesitate to climb up to eat in this very friendly place
We had a great time on Mother's Day. Fast service, no waiting despite the number of tables. Very friendly waiters. A partly covered terrace, very pleasant when the weather permits, with a spacious garden. And homemade dishes. We will come back.
