Auberge de la Cascade du Rouget

We sat down waiting to be asked what we would like to eat/drink. She saw us arrive but decided to leave us waiting (not an issue) when she did finally arrive, we asked if they are still doing food, she asked us to wait while she asked. She arrived back and said yes we are so we ordered, one of us is a smoker so we asked for an ash tray. If looks could kill then we would all be dead, ‘I DO NOT have this request often so I will HAVE to check in the most rude, condescending way possible. 3 summer trips to the area and each time we have made a trip to Cascade du Rouget to have lunch here.The Menu is simple and short, it could be seen as pricey but I find it reasonable given the location.Their Tartiflette is so good that out of 3 visits I have only tried something else on the menu as haven't wanted to risk having food envy when my girlfriends Tartiflette arrived. She always says that this has been the best place she has had it and again on this trip she decided this was still true.

A rustic wonderful restaurant whether visited in the winter large cozy fires or summer on the veranda.... Service is friendly and helpful.... Food is delicious.... Mouthwatering Savard home cooking...... Cannot wait to go back on February

always a pleasure to come back to this hostel. Superb frame facing the waterfall. Very good meal and say potato donuts.. If only we would have liked to receive the secret of the recipe! ;

Dropped there around 21pm. The ckichen was already closed, but the lady aver there was that nice, that she offered to cook us some scrambel egs and frits. She was very nice

It was almost as though they had given up on summer by the end of August. Highly priced very poor choice of branded ice creams In summary would not count on service here

place is full of people as it is reachable by car... to touristic for me! But very nice cascade! Do not forget to hike up and have a look on the top of the cascade ;) Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Superb hostel for a relaxing moment with a great view of the waterfall. Very good reception. Doughnuts a real treat Recommend to everyone
