Ich buchte das Restaurant wegen seiner Terrasse und bat vor allem um einen Tisch draußen zum Abendessen, was auch bestätigt wurde. Bei der Ankunft aßen einige Gäste gerade einen Aperitif auf der Terrasse, als wir danach fragten. Sie sagten, es sei geschlossen und ließen uns im Bistro sitzen. Das Bistro ist sehr gewöhnlich eingerichtet, die Stühle sind unbequem. Das Essen war auch sehr gewöhnlich, ich bestellte das Carbonnade, der Raum voller Rauch. Unser Freund hatte Filet de Perche, das langweilig und überhaupt geschmacklos war. Auch die soziale Distanzierung war grenzwertig, ich saß auf einem Stuhl und berührte mit der Rückenlehne fast den Stuhl vom Tisch dahinter, kaum Bewegungsfreiheit....
Sitting nicely on the village edge the Auberge looks over the Chateau Vineyards. I can imagine in summer the terrace area would be packed as you couldn 't find a better vista. The service was exceptional the fixed menus whilst expensive were beautiful. For starter we had lasagne with a lobster bisque sauce with generous pieces of lobster) followed by the classic of 'Filet de Perche). The actual perch were some of the best we have had..... golden brown larger than normal. Finally a Creme Brulee which I must say tasted like a real English custard !!! Bravo.
A rainy weekday evening that warmed our hearts. As soon as we stepped inside we were shown to our table in the simply but tastefully decorated restaurant. We both chose meat dishes and were not disappointed. Both were accompanied by seasonal vegetables. Although we didn't try it I was impressed to see a complete vegan menu. Excellent choice of wines too. Dessert was delicious not that we were hungry after our mains! Looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the view. I can highly recommend.
The perfect plan for a beautiful sunny day if you want to have a good meal with a beautiful view! Beautiful terrasse overlooking the vines and the lake at the far end. We were very satisfied by the charbonnade we had (big quantity of meat, many variety of sauces). In addition the staff are very friendly and good service. A very special thanks to the owners, Carlo and Bea, who are wonderful people and made us feel very welcome!
Swiss priced naturally, be ready. You get grandiose quality and tasteful food and assemblies of nature ingredients. Professional service. And humour with caring attitude. Bar is quiet and here too to meet locals. Restaurant rooms are either more casual or really intimate. A pleasure to get there. And to come back for more tradition and well beyond.
Food, service, environment, it was all a true enchantement! We reserved with la fourchette and try the menu proposed by this service and all 7 of us found a delicious and flavorful meal! Plates are generous and the filets de perche were the best I ever had! Definitely a place to visit again and again!
It took a while for them to notice/seat us on arrival but, after that, everything was great: a very well situated table with view, great service and, above all, good food/wine, all for a reasonable price. Easy parking too.
Die schlimmste Erfahrung für die ganze Familie. Der Service war katastrophal, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes respektlos. Für den gebotenen Preis hätten wir dieses Serviceniveau nicht erwartet. Niemals zurückkommen
Stayed at the Auberge and was pleasantly surprised both with the room and the restaurant. Nice informal ambience and local wines on offer.
