This restaurant is my favorite in the Gaspé Peninsula. As I am originally from there, I make sure to visit every August. The dining room overlooks the sea, the food is fantastic, especially the fish and seafood, and the homemade desserts are amazing. The restaurant is filled with souvenirs and memorabilia from Bonaventure Island, including old photos, creating a great atmosphere. Dining here feels like a journey to the past and is an unforgettable experience. P.S. Remember to leave your smartphone in the car! Enjoy!
Instead of staying in the touristy town of Percé, we rented a room at the inn called Au Coin du Banc (15 minutes drive from Percé), facing the sea and in a quiet area. It resembles old inns (similar to the ones in the movie "La Grande Vadrouille"), with a decor filled with history. The room was small but functional. The restaurant serves a delicious set menu! A great place to change from the typical motel and bed and breakfast atmosphere.
Old house with a décor... let's say pretty original...! Magnificent view. Menu from a past century. Pitiful service. Arrogant and slow waitresses. Food is pretty good but could use some "renewal". Desserts are delicious, but not "light". A bit cramped and noisy. Breakfast... "meh", we know better elsewhere...
Autant les chambres ont un vrai charme et l'accueil est vraiment sympathique et chaleureux, autant la restauration est très décevante, surtout pour le prix.. Homard trop cuit, légumes bouilli sans saveur, bisque fade.. Je conseille l'hebergement mais pas la restauration
Quaint surroundings, beautiful views, delicious food and wonderful staff. We visit this place each summer during our annual trip to Gaspe. You'll love the setting and the ambience. The food consists of local fare and is homey and delicious.
On a le choix entre chalet, chambre sans salle de bain ou avec salle de bain. Les chambres sont petites mais toutes décorées différemment avec des antiquités. Confortable, un peu bruyant. Super plage tranquille.
Nous avons eu un bon service et une belle vue sur les champs et la mer qui se côtoient. On paie un peu cher pour les assiettes, mais le décor vaut la peine.
Une longue période d'attente les matins achalandé mais le délai vaut le délicieux repas maison. Merci pour cette découverte.
On ne peut passer à côté de cette vieille auberge, la nourriture est excellente et cela sent la nourriture maison! Hum!
