located above the mountain lake of seewaldsee (a 15-minute walk from the last parking lot), this chalet has a terrace with breathtaking views of the lake, the mountain pastures and summits. The kitchen is rustic but of quality and everything is homemade, including charcuterie, cheese and pastries. owners are particularly warm and offer a simple but authentic restoration. small extra attraction: the chickens ran freely on the terrace around the tables trying to scratch the bread crumbs fallen to the ground! Finally, this cottage has been awarded the highly coveted "salzburg alm sommer" label that rewards the addresses that respect the nature and the typical carractère of the mountain chalets...
Das Team der Auerhütte, Anita, Conny und Herbert, bietet seinen Gästen erlesene Köstlichkeiten der Almwirtschaft. In der Speise- und Getränkekarte der Auerhütte wird nichts dem Zufall überlassen. Die Speisekarte, auch die unter der Woche, bietet Raritäten, insbesondere Produkte vom Mangaliza-Schwein. Es gibt warme Speissen, Sonntags-Almküche vom Feinsten – in begrenzter Anzahl. Auf der Getränkekarte geht es um Bier und Spirituelles. An kalten Tagen brennt in der Hütte ein gemütliches Feuer im Schwedenofen. - Die Lage in der herrlichen Landschaft des Naturschutzgebiets Seewaldsee ist herausragend.
Wir konnten vor langer Zeit nicht mehr hin und der Biergarten platzte aus allen Nähten.Trotzdem wurden wir schnell und sehr freundlich bedient.Es gibt keine warmen Gerichte auf der Speisekarte und ich war schon seit 45 Jahren bei Imperial French.Den Ich war schon als Kind hier und es gab den weltbesten Kaiserschmarrn.
