I fell in love with the place!!! The restaurant... The architecture, the decor is very picturesque... an additional bonus, the holiday season so it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food was great. The best tasting Mexican food I tasted in the Phoenix area. The food looks really good, tastes really good and the portions are big. Be ready to take food home with you! Our waiter Jared was great! Jared is very friendly, he really takes care of his customers. You can say he enjoys and loves his work very much! My wife and I have come here for some time and we enjoy all the experience. We dine at strange times and don't worry about the... hurry... crows. IMHO the flour chips and salsa are the best white guy, chip and salsa combo in town. I have always the seafood enchiladas that are shrimps and scallops in a queso packed in a freshly made tortilla. The one strange thing about all the dishes is the...rice a roni... and they serve you with the beans instead of rice. If this is not your thing, your waiter will like to replace Spanish rice for you. On Saturday they have breakfast and a free chocolate fountain with some fresh fruit and other stuff. The service was always good, they get the food quickly.
We have been there for years in groups of 2 to large groups of 50 on the terrace. We were there all the hours. Although it waits for busy nights, nothing I wouldn't expect where I would go in busy nights. I always take a left overs because their portions are so generous. The food is hot and delicious and never disappointed. The waiting staff is helpful and knowledgeable and our refills come on chips and drinks before we are usually finished with what we already have. The new terrace is amazing! I can't wait to enjoy music on Friday nights.
I have already eaten and/or drunk several times at Aunt Chilada. The food is always delicious, great service and a wonderfully fun and relaxed atmosphere. They are fun there, and it's easy to relax and have a great time. Good place to bring visitors from the city. Although I like the little acoustic musical artists in the lounge, I miss the full band game.

The food was wonderful! The salsa and chips were the best I ever had! Miguel was a wonderful waiter. We made reservations and got right in. They had several large groups there and were all doing a great job! People can be so impatient and quick to write a bad review but this place was awesome! Vacationing from Indiana and were very pleased.
Great atmosphere! Splendid service! Excellent food! We flew in from South Carolina tired and hungry and had a wonderful meal. Also, we were told some interesting history about the place. Very friendly staff.
Wonderful food! We sat outside on the patio by the bocce ball court. Had a few visitors with wings which adds to the ambiance : Our waiter was a very nice young man. Overall, wonderful experience
Service and food are amazing! Have been coming here for years and the palapa bar, the atmosphere,and the staff make this place my “go to” in central Phoenix!

The Fire Ice margaritas had the perfect bite of jalapeno in them. Love the owners and staff. Perfect place anytime of the day.
