I recently visited Alvarez for the first time and I must say they are the real deal. We enjoyed delicious pizza and top-notch service. I ordered a grandma pie and the crust was perfectly crispy and chewy, the sauce had a hint of sweetness and was well seasoned with balanced garlic. The cheese was fantastic. And the best part was the reasonable price - no overpriced boutique pizza shop here. Overall, 10/10, we will definitely be back.
This restaurant is fantastic. While the parking lot is small and street parking can be challenging, the food and service inside are exceptional. The dining area only has a limited number of tables, but it is definitely worth a visit.
This is my favorite traditional NY style pizza place in the area. I love the sauce/cheese ratio and the crust is always perfectly crisp. I like their Caesar salad and our whole family shares the penne ala vodka every time we order.
I really wish I could give this place more stars. Everything I’ve eaten here is absolutely Incredible and I lived in Italy for 3 years. The whole team is so nice, I’m so happy to have found the best pizza in NY! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Long time resident. Been to every other local place, but Alvarez Pizza by far blows them away. From the Pizza to the food and the people. By far the best!! Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.
The pizza is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant could use a bit of a refresh, but I still really enjoyed my experience.
Pizza is outstanding,you have to try the crispino pie it will blow your mind.also the grandma with the thin crust the sauce is amazing
