I was there three weeks ago. While pouring the sauce over my lobster, the waiter emptied it all over my torso and pants. We're talking about 300ml of hot, fatty sauce. Everything from the left breast down to the waistband of the pants was full. From that moment on, the evening was over for us. We actually wanted to move on after dinner, but that was no longer possible. How did the restaurant accommodate me? The waiter offered to have the shirt cleaned, which I declined because it would be less hassle for me to just throw my shirt in my own washing machine instead of having to go back and forth to the restaurant and then back and forth again to be picked up . We have been regulars at the Hummerbar for almost ten years now and it has always been a pleasure to have our Saturday lunches there. Friendly staff and service, and we almost always get our favourite table. During the last years we however noticed a slight decrease in food quality (although not bad by any means), and that’s why it was such a fantastic experience when we returned last Saturday, after a Covid hiatus of more than six months, and found the place back in good form and even better! Es mag nicht Michelin-bewertet sein, aber wir hatten hier ein wunderbares kulinarisches Erlebnis. Obwohl bekannt für ihre Hummer (die wir zu Hause bekommen) hatten wir lokale Fische und Austern und andere regionale Spezialitäten von einem erfahrenen Wartepersonal serviert. Nur Empfehlung wäre, könnten sie die Hintergrundmusik ein bisschen aktualisieren-Sinatra für 3 Stunden wird alt. Ambiente, Service, Menü, gute Verkostung Essen - das ganze Angebot.
My mother, grandmother and I celebrated 2022 Mother’s Day dinner. Elegant atmosphere. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, the service was excellent. They even accommodated our request for a chocolate desert although not offered in the menu. We will come again! Highly recommended.
Mr. Ellermann greeted my partner and I upon arrival. His service was impeccable yet friendly. The selection of food was wonderful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant and romantic. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys seafood and appreciates 5* service.
Gebucht über die Gabel über Tripadvisor. Eine Stunde zu Fuß, um hierher zu kommen und zu sagen, dass der Ort vollständig gebucht wurde. Keine Entschuldigung, wir wurden gerade angeschreit und ignoriert.
Top service and amazing food! Amazing atmosphere and interior style. I will definitely recommend this restaurant! Perfect cooked lobster and fish, large selection of caviar and oysters.
Ausgezeichnetes Essen, gut serviert, aber in einer tristen Umgebung. Es bedarf dringend einer Neugestaltung/Überarbeitung/Auffrischung der Möbel und der Umgebung.
