We booked a reservation here last minute as we have eaten at the main st location and really enjoyed it.The dinner this evening was exceptional. Our waiter was very personable, provided great recommendations, and was always there just when you needed him without being over bearing. Amazing service all around.The drinks were great, and the food was incredible. The lasagna is the best I’ve ever had.Do not skip the tiramisu as it is delicious as well.All in all 5 stars all around. The service and food really set this place apart. We will absolutely be back.
We had dinner on Saturday evening.......Wonderful meal and great service from Gavin as well. The staff seemed to be happy and worked together seamlessly. The best nouveau Italian food we have eaten in ages. Tuna tartare was perfect and the duck pate a delight to the taste buds. Homemade pastas are perfectly cooked. Look forward to making Autostrada Downtown our neighborhood go to dinner spot. Thanks for a great experience.
I was not satisfied with the service at this restaurant. The service at Autostrada was much better. We ordered the house bread, and when it arrived, I requested some olive oil, only to discover when the bill arrived that they had charged for it. I had not been charged at the other location. Additionally, I found the restaurant to be very noisy. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
The dining experience at Autostrada downtown is fantastic. The service and atmosphere are both excellent. I tried the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was absolutely delicious. The focaccia and Caesar salad were also great. The burrata was tasty but a bit pricey, which is common for this dish. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I am looking forward to returning soon! This was our seventh or eighth visit since last December. Our server recommended the steak dinner to us. We questioned if it would be too much for both of us, since a previous server had mentioned that the steak is meant for four people. Despite being delicious, the portion size was too generous for just the two of us.
Very nice for a date or casual fine dining experience with friends. The atmosphere is very nice but not pretentious. The house Red was so good I looked into buying a case after. The food was so good I'd struggle not ordering the same thing next time but I want to try more.
Great spot! Had a nice local neighbourhood vibe. Comfortable, attentive service and yummy authentic Italian food. Would definitely come back next time we’re in Vancouver.
