We came here for a drink to suss out if we wanted to eat here later on in the evening. In the event we decided to go back to the port in Ars, perhaps the fact that they seemed to be setting out a table...for a very large group of people put us off, and partly our desire to see the town again. We sat on the terrace with a beer, it's a fantastic location. The guy who served us (the owner perhaps) was friendly and professional and we didn't see the scary waitress mentioned in other reviews.
small seaside restaurant without pretentious with a beautiful view! (you have to walk a little on the beach to see the wide view and its blue and grey camaieu when the light lends to it....to do the noon for it ) Sea plates and very good and generous mussels. fresh, quality products. medium meringue lemon pie. good value for money . quick but correct welcome. in summary: there goes for the view, the products of the sea, the isolated side by the beach, without having any pretensions!
we had a great meal here! there is a simple menu: oyster, seafood, grills and a children's menu. there were only a few employees, but the service was always happy. who cares if they have to wait one if they have one. table with views of the sea, rock pools and sunset? when the restaurant served in the evening around 19 o'clock, it immediately filled out, so it is a good idea to come a bit earlier for drinks and then take a table to dinner.
we came to 12 a Saturday night the restaurant was full but to drink it is possible:) we can order at the bar and then sit along the dam in the sunset it is perfect! idyllic frame !mojito well dosed and very correct rate for the island of re it is appreciable (7€) super pleasant service with the smile we will return to dinner by booking in advance or out of season!
this is a classic beach side bar/restaurant. eating is simple, good and plentiful. the prices are fair. the staff and the clientel are well humiliated and bring out the best at the place. it has a magnificent view of the sea and the sky. we were there in...sun (glorious) and rain (convenient). they go with open hearts and they will be repaid.
the setting is the best part, unfortunately do not fit the food and service. the muscheln au curry had poured a cold pale green sauce over it. hard boiled au curry! service is brutal because inadequate staff. they do their best, but they are gone. the boss has to reassess. it is currently a money machine.
one of the places you have to go to ars, but you are also very well received when you don't belong to the regulars, famous or not. facing the sea, almost the feet in the water!
a priori you have to book and yet welcomed with a smile, I was found a place. marinar mussels with the view that goes well.
very nice reception and a breathtaking view of the large. concert evenings and the Italian waiter is very nice
