The food is definitely over priced, I wouldn't order a steak from there, however what I did order was meh ok. I ordered chicken breast with shrimp rice and salad. The chicken breast was good maybe a little more flavor or a sauce I could dip it into, the shrimp although cooked well was horrible, the put breading on the shrimp which just ended up being weird and wet. The rice was great and I did not have time to eat the salad however it looked like something I could get from mc Donald's. Not a high class restaurant but it's good for a quick meal that is all!
When we are in Montreal, we normally hit Aux Vieux Duluth for their specials and bring our own wine ... easy to do with two grocery stores and an SAQ within walking distance. We didn't realize that the specials were not available on Saturday, so dinner for 3 was about $20 more than we expected. But the food was very good. Two of us had the pickerel while the other had the chicken souvlaki. They do not go cheap on portions either.
The place is clean, large and well staffed. Bathrooms are clean and ample parking. An SAQ(liquor store nearby). I had a filet mignon, and just coffee afterwards close to 40.00 without tip.. I think the portions are smaller than before. Go on discount days or split entrees. My friends were not crazy about the desserts.
Au Vieux Duluth is a great restaurant where you can bring your own wine. We found that this one had excellent food and the waiter was excellent. He saw to us as if we were alone in the restaurant.The quality of the food is great. It was quiet and relaxing.
Style cuisine grec . Assiette copieuse. Bon service. Apporter votre vin ( SAQ à quelques pas du restaurant) Certains aliments manque de fraicheur (salade en autre) les aliments (crevettes ) sont molles et manquent de fraicheur.
service très courtois, nourriture succulente! J'y ai été en plusieurs occasions. Party de noël et avec mes enfants pour le midi. Toujour la même constance dans la qualité. L'intérieur est bien décoré.
This is great food at great prices and excellent staff who really care about you - they go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction - and the food is wonderful.
When back to Aux Vieux Duluth (Sherbrooke St) after a number of years visiting this chain of restaurants. Well, rest assured that the chain is now on my black list.
