My husband and I visited this charming little spot for breakfast yesterday, not knowing what to expect since we don’t live nearby. Let me tell you, their bagel egg sandwiches are absolutely incredible! We loved it so much that we returned today, and I ordered a jalapeño bagel topped with hash browns, sausage, bacon, and cheese— it was fantastic! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, and the bagels are freshly made, soft, and delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back; this has become my new favorite bagel place. Thank you, Avenue Bagels, for making us feel like family instead of just another customer!
The restaurant is extremely dirty, and the kitchen requires cleaning and updating. The takeout packaging is poorly handled, with items just tossed into a bag, even though customers are charged premium prices. One particular server was quite rude, and it seems that management supports this unprofessional behavior.
Avenue Bagels is a treasure of a store with wonderful staff and outstanding bagels and breakfast fare. It's my to-go spot for an authentic breakfast. The breakfast bagel special is my favorite, substitutions gladly accommodated.
Whenever I'm craving bagels, this is the place I go to. I really appreciate how friendly everyone is, and of course, the food is fantastic!
