We have been visiting Avila's for years and have never been let down by the food, margaritas, or staff. The fish tacos and burritos are unbeatable. The margaritas are strong and delicious. The staff is consistently attentive and makes you feel right at home. After our meal, we take a stroll down to the beach to enjoy the beautiful view and the refreshing Southern California breeze and sunshine.
I went for lunch with a friend and we had a great experience. The salsa chips were the best I've ever tasted! Our server was incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job explaining the menu. I ordered chicken taquitos and my friend had beef tacos, both of which were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Avila's if you're in the mood for Mexican food!
Great food. We had the avocado bowl. And the devil shrimp. Both were good. The shrimp dish had more kick. Avocado bowl was nice, but a bit flat. Chips and salsa were good. Highly recommend the guac and making it spicy via their sereno peppers. Flour homemade tortilla are great. Very dog friendly! Great outdoor patio!
What a wonderful restaurant! The outdoor seating was delightful, and they had heaters on since it was a bit cool during our visit. The menu offered a great selection, especially for vegetarians. Overall, we had a lovely experience. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Here in So. Cal, this is about as close to Tex Mex. We are known and always treated very well. A large family business is definitely worth a try. Also a killer outdoors!
My FAVORITE Mexican restaurant, views of the ocean, outside dining, you can bring your doggie's : my favorite is the Shrimp Botana Platter <3 Best Chips Salsa <3
AH MAZING ….Jessica has the right vibe for this restaurant- something very rare these days …beautiful courtyard to dine in and see the ocean

The appetizers were great, the service was wonderful! No wonder they've been here for 50 years! Would highly recommend.
