I was apprehensive after reading reviews but we found the food to be very tasty, large serves and reasonable price. We had the chicken burger, salads and lamb shanks.Staff were friendly and helped us take a family photo. Best place to sit is outside (weather permitting), they have a bar where you can get drinks as you need it. I am giving this 4 stars as I feel the reception entrance and inside cafe area needs to be refurbished. First impressions mean a lot and I think it would help their ratings.
We went for a meal to Avocados tonight. What a delight, the place is big and airy with lots of tables to choose from, some outside, some undercover in the verandah with great ambience. A gentle breeze wafted in as we were served huge platters of delicious food. The three of us had Surf and Turf, Chicken Parmi and I had a gluten free angus burger (one of the best I've ever had) cannot fault the meal it was simply delicious, will most definitely be going back and highly recommend this place!
Stopped by for some afternoon tea. Amazing scones, cheesecake and coffee. Nice little hidden gem with a little river running beside it which creates a little waterfall. The heaters kept us nice and cosy and the place just felt cosy. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food took a little while to come out but we soaked up the scenery whilst we waited.
Group of 7 of us had Sunday lunch. Lamb shank very tough and inedible. They agreed and refunded. Wedges so greasy you could squeeze a good amount of oil out of each wedge. Very unpleasant. I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars if I could. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. We ordered the Lamb Shank and Angus Burger, both of which were super tasty! I would definitely recommend this place. I didn't give it 5 stars because we had to wait quite a while for our food after ordering. However, it was definitely worth the wait.
This is a fantastic restaurant for a meal, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with a lake nearby. It is very relaxing and they offer great mid-week deals. The food is excellent overall, with large burgers and delicious coffee. If you are in the Kelmscott or hills area, this is a must-visit spot.
Location amazing, food average... pretty old school. My Ceaser had cold thigh chicken and store bought bottle dressing (assuming). Staff were lovely and the fire place was warm and roasting. Would go again for the scenery but would prob go for breakfast instead.
I had the most incredible wedding at Avocados on March 19th, 2022. The staff were fantastic and always made sure my partner and I had a drink and food in hand. It was truly a wonderful day and experience. Thank you to all the staff at Avocados! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great pizzas. They're more expensive than places like Dominos but the quality is significantly higher. They'll also deliver at no charge if you live close by.
