Great Persian food! Not really bland like what some reviews say, I must say that what we ordered were really tasty if I may say. We ordered Fish, Steak and Chicken and they all taste great. It was a bit of a wait though, like 20 minutes but the food was perfectly cooked, Salmon was done perfectly, not under or over cooked and the same with the rest. And they all tasted different. Some place they slather their meats with the same seasoning and then off to the grill, but here you can tell each meat was prepared individually. The price is a little expensive but again, I can say it is priced accordingly with the quality of food. Their white sauce though could use a hint of garlic but I guess its...
Update They moved to East Meadow in a lot bigger venue and bigger tables. Free parking is available in the vicinity. I hope they will be successfully in the new location because it was pretty empty when were there at lunch time. Initial review I am so disappointed to see this place closed permanently at their Old Country Road location.. It's always a relaxing dinner with great food at reasonable price. I never had a babaganoush better than what they serve. Excellent service and they have parking.
They can?t have 1 person serve the entire dining room on Saturday night. Service is slow, orders are wrong, and the mood of the evening is gradually ruined. We were a party of 2, we were served 1 entree and the wrong one no less, and the response was ?well that?s the one I thought you ordered?. I?ve driven there several times from the Bronx, no more.
We live nearby so wanted to give it a try. It?s a good restaurant. We ordered Sambuse (appetizer) and a combination platter (entree). That platter is big enough for 4 people to share. The food, ambiance, and service, all was good but nothing spectacular.
We came here by chance because we bought in the mall. What a great surprise! Great food great service and a very nice decor inside. I would highly recommend
Lamb was cooked well, but I did not like the yogurt sauce. Food was a little dry because of that. Nice interior.
Service needs to be a little faster, otherwise friendly staff. Food was absolutely delicious.
The sauce is supreme, the eggplant is tender, and the meat is juicy. What more do you need?
