The food was shockingly bad. The fajitas were drenched in soy sauce, to the point that we couldn't even see the peppers. They were burnt, blackened, and completely tasteless. How do you mess up fajitas? We started with chicken wings, which were bland, unimpressive, and tasted freezer-burned. The rice was rock hard and appeared to be reheated and stale. The steak was overcooked and flavorless. The drinks were average—nothing worth mentioning.
When I ordered the mixed fajitas, which come with chicken, steak, or shrimp, the waiter reacted negatively and charged me $35 without informing me that there would be such a large surcharge. The original price for one selection was $23, and the portion...
Wow! The food was amazing! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. You can tell the people who work here put love and pride into feeding you a fresh and beautiful meal. The sangria was pefection. You tasted both the wine and fruit perfectly mixed (and served in a beautiful glass! For appetizer I had the Tamales, entree, the Carne Tampiquena and dessert bananas flambe. Each item better than the last. Seriously one of the best meals I've had from start to finish. We had the guacamole, Birria quesadillas and regular quesadillas. The guacamole was very good, made table-side, and exactly how we asked, mild. The white sangria was fine, nothing special. The food was amazing, especially the empanadas!! The waiter (I unfortunately don’t remember his name) provided above and beyond service!
