On a Saturday night, we ordered a double-decker pizza with pepperoni and were told it would be delivered in an hour. To our surprise, the driver arrived in just 30 minutes and the pizza was piping hot! As soon as I brought it into the kitchen, the smell of oregano filled the air and my mouth started watering. The first bite had me feeling like I had gone to heaven - it was without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had (besides my homemade pizza, of course). The crust on both pizzas seemed off. It's as if the yeast was forgotten or the dough wasn't allowed to rise. The knots were very small and doughy. The pizza was surprisingly thin and lacked flavor in the dough. This was not what I expected from this place. It was a weird dining experience.
I was surprised to find that the Greek salad had ham, pepperoni, and ranch dressing. The pizza didn't taste the way I remembered it. I ordered a single decker instead of a double decker, so I'm not sure if that's why it tasted different.
