Basically came here because every other Chinese restaurant that I wanted to try to go to for to go orders appeared to take too long for my work lunch break. So as I was walking by, I saw their daily specials sign and the onion pork chop rice sounded appetizing. I go in to order and sit and wait. After waiting for 5 10 mins, I thought one of the lady servers was calling me to get my order. But she was talking to another guy that walked in after me. After she gave him his order, she asked me what I ordered. I told her the special, and apparently it was already sitting on their table. Really?! Today, I went there during my 30-minute lunch break, hoping for a better experience. After waiting for a while to be acknowledged, I finally got some attention and was handed a menu with outdated prices. I didn't realize this until I placed my order and the server informed me of the cost. When I questioned why they were handing out menus with old prices, the same blond-haired employee came out and carelessly threw the menu at me instead of offering any assistance.

I know Baby Cafe well, although I didn't go there yesterday afternoon. My siblings and I were next door at Oakland Florist, selecting a floral arrangement for a loved one who recently passed away. However, I have dined at Baby Cafe before, over five years ago, and I recall that the food was excellent and the service impressive. They also had quite a diverse menu. One downside is that street parking can be a bit difficult. There's a public garage about a block away on the 1000 block of Webster Street, right by the Pacific Renaissance Building.
I ordered Tom Yum with udon noodles, but it came with spaghetti noodles instead. The soup base was decent, but I would not have ordered it if I had known it wasn't actually udon noodles. Additionally, the crab Rangoon was oddly sweet.

Wanted to give it a try just to see how good RP01. Hai Nan Chicken With Rice is. Was not disappointed at all, the chicken, rice and sauce topping was fantastic. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a lighter meal
They do not allow service dogs, which is against ADA regulations. This is very disappointing and unacceptable. I would give them zero stars.
