it was welcomed when we entered and said there was a waiting time, but it would not be long. it was only about 15 minutes and we were sitting. server was asked to take our drink order and asked if we knew what we wanted to eat, what we did. the fish dinner was huge and non-fat, mac and cheese was delicious, but the koleslaw had a strange taste so that we eat further. server was excellent! the first time there, would definitely come back!
the first time that it will not go back soon in over a year. the wings tasted like old friteier oil, the hot sausage sandwich was mostly broth, and the bartender mixed my debit card with another one that had already left. mistakes happen, I know that but as a bartender, this is an important part of their work. he gave us a drink in the house while he made a few calls that tried to get my card back.
great food, especially for the prices. pgh steak sandwich is huge with good taste. bier selection is also really solid. I have an prise lunch by maine beer co. for a steal at $7, you don't see that very often, if I were in the long term, I would certainly make this establishment more frequent. highly recommended
great stuff. we usually get the fish, but we just had one yesterday at jack’s diner. today the bd had the pittsburgh steak. amazing! we share a whole. total was $24.11 including a draft beer. 2 meal times and we have taken home enough to eat for us in the morning. Delicious food and fun atmosphere. I love the Buffalo wings and sandwiches! My husband loves the burgers and barbecue wings, and our son loves the burgers and chicken fingers.
Basket of fried scallops and fries for $7.50, not bad at all. Fish everyday, not just Friday like a lot of places. Give them a try, nice beer selection.
We happened to go when they ran out of a ton of things but we would stop back. Wish they had a dessert menu or a little more then sandwiches
