I ordered my food today. The food was beef and chicken. I ordered to go and came 20 minutes after I placed my phone order. The hostess working at the store, wasn’t quite rude, but very off putting and not very welcoming. My food was cold to the touch. Looking at the reviews, I expected much much more. For $19 I expected more protein on my food plate. Horrible customer service and for the price, I would like my food, at least warm. The hostess didn’t bother to greet me when I walked in, had a bad attitude and again, my food was cold. Real authentic Hawaiian food! Located on corner so easy to find(next to a pizza restaurant) I’ve been to Hawaii every year since 2003 and this is the closest I have found to the taste of the islands! Large menu selection! Quick fast service! Employees seemed a little over busy but maybe because they were hosting a private event also; looked like a wedding reception? So we could only get take out! Decor made you feel like you were in Hawaii! Would definitely go back to try more dishes! Good size portions of food! Unsure if they had a parking lot but I did see plenty of street parking nearby! A local friend brought us to this fun Hawaiian restaurant.. Friday night they had live music and it was packed, we made a reservation for Saturday evening.. had a table for 15.. our waiter did a great job for a large group constantly filling our beverages. The food is very authentic, we tried several different things including the spam musbai appetizer which everyone enjoyed.. portions are very large so you can share.. atmosphere is neat and they have a fresh bakery on site as well..
Great service and atmosphere. Food need work. The fried chicken was good. The teriyaki beef was really chewy and should have sauce on it because it needs it. The teriyaki chicken was so bad. Food is always good and vibe was great! They usually have live music on the weekends. Recommend the nachos with bbq chicken, sumi salad and the lahaina fried chicken.
Awesome place! Food is great. Atmosphere was awesome. I love the way it's decorated. AC needs some help but other than that it was great and I'd go back for sure.
