I ordered three meat combinations: brisket, baby back ribs, and pulled pork. Unfortunately, the baby back ribs were the most disappointing, lacking the flavor I was expecting after having enjoyed them elsewhere. I was really looking forward to them. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the brisket! I didn’t have high expectations, but it was flavorful and perfectly smoked. The pulled pork was decent but nothing special—just average.
The standout side for me was the mac and cheese. You definitely have to try this when you visit! It was beautifully melted, slightly crispy from being broiled, and the inside had the perfect blend of cheesiness and al dente texture. I really enjoyed...
BTTBB is a gem, it has been around as long as I can remember dating back to my teenage years , now in my 30s.I' love southern food esp bbq so this place really stood apart from the mainstream food scene here in OC which is awesome they started the BBQ trend and for that im truly grateful!!!! Früher bestellte ich Two Meats Special mit beiden Fleischsorten Tri Tips, bis mir die Kassiererin mitteilte, dass die Bestellung des TriTips Dinners etwas günstiger sei und alles ziemlich gleich sei. Ich liebe ihre Maiskolben mit Koriander und Chilibutter so sehr, dass ich das für beide Seiten bekomme. Mein Freund bestellt immer Rippchen und Knoblauchkartoffelpüree sowie gedämpftes Gemüse und beendet sie normalerweise am nächsten Tag zum Mittagessen. Meiner Meinung nach ist Bad To The Bone ein wahrhaft verborgener Schatz in San Juan Capistrano

I personally adore the Tri-Tips at this restaurant. I used to order the Two Meats special with both types of Tri Tips until the cashier recommended the Tri-Tips Dinner which was a bit cheaper and just as filling. I also love their corn on the cob with cilantro and chile butter so much that I always choose it as both of my sides. My friend always orders the Ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies, and often saves the leftovers for lunch the next day. In my opinion, Bad To The Bone is a hidden gem in San Juan Capistrano.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. We loved the heated terrace, and the salon featured some live music along with local beers. On a Friday night at 7 PM, the place was bustling, but the service remained excellent. We will definitely be returning! Food: 5/5
Bad to the Bone is a local favorite for a good reason the food is good. Today, the tri-tip sandwich was fantastic, and I almost ordered another to get more of the taste in my mouth. I stopped coming for a while but I enjoyed this meal so I will be coming back.Food: 5/5
Great BBQ and Atmosphere!. This place is on our power rotation any time there is a guy event birthday dinner, special events or when we just want to eat like a man this is a great little place that we highly recommend!

This place is awesome twice in one week. I'm a big BBQ fan and i have to say for the area it's a great place. The food is a 10 the service is great. Recommend it.
