This lovely litttle restaurant,sitting right at the edge of the Dordogne river, just got better.! We have always enjoyed the situation and the food. This year I believe they have a new chef. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunchsitting under the trees overlooking the beautiful Dordogne River. The beef burger, my friend declared was "the best ever" I had the poulet tandooriwhich was , as always, delicious. We both followed with a dessert, the Eton messand crème brûlée, both yummy !Just a perfect way to spend a very warm, sunny Sunday.
On a lovely summers day, the seating under the trees in front of the Banana Bar is just paradise.The view over the river Dordogne is stunning. The service is always friendly, and the cuisine, is simple but good, a nice change from the normal Perigord dishes. A wonderful place for familiesor couples.
Accueil froid et sec dès notre arrivée.Au moment de passer à la caisse à refuser de prendre notre carte prétextant une trop petite note avec des réflection désagréable. Nous a fait attendre 10 mn avant de finalement nous encaisser avec d'autre réflexion.
Excellent déjeuner au bord de l'eau à l'ombre des arbresTrès belle carte originale, des entrées au dessertQuand à l’accueil, très étonnant tous ces commentaires négatifs, la patronne a été très agréable accueillante ainsi que le serveur présent cet été.

We have visited this small bar/restaurant on numerous occasions over the past eight years, both as a couple and with family or friends. Thoroughly recommend for delicious food, stunning location and warm welcome from the proprietor. Thank you Sandrine!
L' accueil est glacé , voire impoli ! En terrasse, si vous renversez votre café accidentellement , vous êtes invité à le régler quand même. Si vous n' avez que des billets, vous avez tout faux , et allez chercher de la menue monnaie;
We asked to book a table for nine - 4 adults and 5 children aged 8-13 yrs and were told that children caused too much disturbance for other guests. (Not specifically our children). This is despite there being a children's menu.
Madame est désagréable et se moque du monde. Repas plus que moyen, fondant chocolat maison plus que douteux et qui a oublié d'être fondant...Bref piège à touriste même pour les locaux.. Aucun respect du client
