the restaurant bar of the town hall touët on var, in the sea alps, is an excellent restaurant. it is installed in the premises of the railway station of provence (nothing to see with the sncf). the whole station has become a restaurant and the restaurant is called “city hall restaurant”. I discovered this restaurant in September 2016. The welcome is warm. The atmosphere is nice. The chief is a cook from the region. it makes an excellent authentic cuisine of the country: homemade pealadière, ratatouille, zucchini flowers, stuffed, daube, ravioli niçois, gnocchi house, etc... It is a true high quality authentic restaurant with really reasonable prices.
We made a stop to visit the medieval village that overlooks the valley of the var by taking the small train of the pigs. the restaurant adjoining the small station immediately attracted us. We discovered a generous local cuisine, made with regional products. The boss is more nice and very welcoming a real good memory
