We decided to stop in for a drink, but were put off by the abrupt attitude of the bartender when we were asked to sign in to the NHS app, which seemed unnecessary. A simple direction with a smile would have sufficed. The waitress then served our drinks in metal cups with her fingers around the rim, which made us uncomfortable during a pandemic. It would have been more hygienic if her fingers were on the handle instead. Overall, the experience felt grubby and unpleasant, prompting us to leave and not return. Additionally, I felt out of place for ordering soya milk with my coffee, as they only had cows milk available. This lack of options made the place seem outdated and unprogressive.
The pub in Walsall is the best by all standards. The beer is excellent and served in crystal clear glasses. The atmosphere is enhanced by nice music. The cleanliness of the tables and toilets is commendable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it was the best afternoon I've had in a long time, especially with the current weather. And now, they even allow vaping inside. I can't think of anything else to add, it's a lovely place and I wish I could visit more often.
The restaurant's location at the canal basin should be a gold mine, as I previously mentioned. The manageress is great, the staff is brilliant, and the beer is lovely. However, it is always empty. It is Sunday at 2pm and there are only 4 people there. There must be a reason for this. It is not the location, it is not the staff, it is not the beer, so what could it be?
First time coming to Bar10, great atmosphere. Nikki served us, was really friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. She was chatting to us outside like she had known us for ages, so friendly and welcoming, was telling us about events coming up. Definitely will be back next weekend. Started here on a night out.. to be honest not many decent places for an evening out in Walsall. My friend and I had a couple of drinks here the music was good....everyone seemed to be having fun. I enjoy coming here in the summer as it has a nice seating area outside also it is a little sun trap.
The best pub in Walsall, has always been. It's a shame that there is no menu now, but Nikki is a great manager and the staff are brilliant. - Jeff.
Nice bar and friendly staff. Outdoor seating is nice too but I found the benches became uncomfortable after sitting on them for awhile.
