Food was really nice. Unfortunately I wasnât impressed with the waitstaff. Iâd called ahead to inform of two peoples dietary requirements and that one person wouldnât be eating. When we arrived they had no knowledge of this and so insisted we pay for that persons bottomless lunch despite them not eating. Not sure whether the waiter was stressed/under pressure but he wasnât very friendly at all and just seemed quite grumpy and borderline rude. Table wasnât ready until minutes past our reservation time and we couldnât wait inside so we were standing outside in the cold wind. Could have at least said sorry for seating us late. Food was nice but the restaurant lacks customer service...
We dined at this restaurant in mid-February. We had planned to try their bottomless brunch, but there was a minimum requirement of 4 people, so we decided to order a few dishes instead. Our table was initially located inside, but the noise level from the other tables was so high that we couldn't even hear each other talk. Luckily, we were moved outside to a more relaxed and quieter atmosphere. The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious, and I would like to return to try their pasta dishes.
We had the set menu and although the dishes were tasty and well-cooked (particularly the fish and pasta dishes), we would have appreciated larger serving sizes of each dish. I left feeling full but not completely sated. The restaurant itself, although vibrant in atmosphere, did not engender the same feeling of warmth and family as other Italian restaurants tend to do. Overall, a great venue for trendy types who like bite-sized portion with expensive wines.
The staff were really lovely and the atmosphere was great just out of lockdown. The food however was pretty average for the price and felt the menu was limited. The oysters were great. But then went for the 900g rib-eye between two probably a mistake on my behalf as it’s Italian restaurant but was overcooked and for $98 was definitely overpriced. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It was a great experience to be at Bartolo for my bfâs birthday. It was our first time and we definitely decided to add the place to our places to go on a date list. Iâll definitely recommend it to my all friends. Also, because their menu is shared base style, you can taste different meals ð
I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at the wine room! The selection of wines was great and we were very pleased with our choice. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who anticipated our needs perfectly. They should consider turning this into a full-fledged restaurant!
We were very happy with the excellent service for our party of 16 this Mother’s Day. Staff were friendly and efficient. The set menu gave us a varied selection of delicious bites to eat, accompanied by a choice of wine bubbles. A really pleasant, enjoyable luncheon. We’ll be back!

Excellent food, lovely service. All the food was served in a timely fashion. Lovely ambience. Will definitely be revisiting in the future!
