My husband and I went for a chicken plate which we have ordered frequently on past visits The server gave us something we never requested which was calked a Basha Sante because we asked to change the regular salad to an avocado salad. Since I am gluten intolerant, we asked if he could put the rice on a separate plate because the rice contains noodles. Been going to this location since 2005. It was great back then, they filled your plate, chicken and beef were both full of taste. As years went by they started to be stingy. Counting tomato slices when putting in plate, charging for extra sauce, etc.. the quality of meats went down too. But I don't know what happened but 2015 onwards it improved. I am guessing they saw Boustan opening up in west island. The chicken was juicy and not dry like Boustan (on st jean). I love eating lunch in this unassuming lunch spot just off Des Sources. I try and get in about 1130 just as the staff are finishing their lunch and get first choice of the amazing fresh salads. The Sante plate allows a choice of three salads and a choice of either spit roasted chicken or beef. I've had a bad experience at this location before (horrible service) so I hesitated to go back.. my mom convinced me to give it another try and so I gave in and I was seriously disappointed. I'm guessing that the boy who served me was new because he kept messing up my order, which I didn't mind until the manager started making rude comments towards me and the boy serving us. Overall the food isn't bad but the service is the reason why I will not be returning. I'd rather spend my money at a restaurant that will treat me with respect.
The Food and the Service at this location is outstanding. Very good Chicken Shish Taouk plate (generous portions), I like also a Chicken Shish Taouk pita mixed with the choice of 3 salads is very good. I love their Fattoush mixed salad. Everything is made daily with very fresh and high quality ingredients. The owner and the staff are very friendly and give exemplary service. Always a joy to visit this Basha restaurant.
I can be considered a regular this spot. The food is fresh, great taste, and good portion. The service is great, folks serve you a smile. The menu is not extensive but good healthy choices. Easy to order is you work in the area and it's too busy at the office to go out. You might want to try the hot sauce, it has the right kick without making you sweat!Enjoy

Eat in or take out. Simple ethnic food, good prices, always good quality and served with politness. Limited menu, can mix and match. Very simple decore basic furniture.
We always come here for our shish taouk/shawarma fix. The chick is just so tasty and the salad and potatoes are so good.
