After we placed our order, I observed that all the other patrons were Caucasian and appeared quite affluent. We were, without a doubt, the darkest-skinned couple there that day. I noticed another gentleman, whom I suspected was the manager, dressed in a coat, bustling around and greeting other customers as they arrived and left. However, he seemed oblivious to our table, never checking in to see if we were enjoying our meal or needed anything. As for the food, it was just okay—nothing remarkable. If anything, I would say the ambiance is what makes this place worth a visit, as it features lovely outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the treatment we received really put a damper on our experience....
I was excited to finally visit this establishment and take my parents out to a cute restaurant. When we arrived we weren?t hungry for food because we had eaten earlier so we decided to just get dessert. The restaurant was cute and my parents were really excited. Once I asked for just the dessert menu, my server looked shocked and got the manager owner. The manager told us that this was not okay but he?ll let it slide this ONE time, next time we had to get dinner. I was shocked but didn?t want to argue because I just wanted to have a nice time with my family. I have never in my life been instructed as to what I was required to order or not allowed to order at a restaurant. My mom felt extreme...
I visited this restaurant for a late lunch with a friend and we shared the fried calamari. While it was fresh, the marinara sauce was disappointing and lacked flavor. The menu mentioned it would be spicy, but when we asked for a spicy sauce, they simply provided a bottle of hot sauce instead of anything homemade from the chef. The chicken breast was good and fresh, served with vegetables, but overall, I don’t think I would choose to spend my money here again.

The food and service were both outstanding. I can't wait to return! I highly recommend the Vitelli Tonneto; it made me feel right at home. We were also drawn to the fact that all desserts are just $10, which we really appreciated! The chocolate cake was incredible! Just a heads up: the restaurant only accepts cash.
