I'm a regular here, and I'm not the only one lol! This place is always packed, it's both a locals haunt and a place where well-advised tourists end up. I meet my friends here, I meet my colleagues here, I meet half the town here...And it draws out the locals every evening with good reasons!So, first off: Convenience. Just on the bank of the river, this place has it's own parking.Next, atmosphere: Clean shabby chic orientated decor, open central kitchen, usually pretty crowded, Italian chef.... Despite some unfounded reviews,We found the restaurant to remember the traditional Italian family "trattoria" ambience. Open kitchen at the entrance, so you can see chefs preparing your food and pizzas.The pizza dough is tasty, well cooked and light on your stomach. Their buffalo mozzarella comes directly from Campania region (Naples) and it is of outstanding quality.Home made fried potatoes wedges were crunchy and well cooked, We ordered an extra portion.Duck breast was a weekly suggestion; very well cooked, tasty, tender and juicy, it was served with its cooking juices and a green leaves salad. The food was actually filthy never go there my dad had a salad and the chicken in it was brown with red liquid coming out and the salad was brown and old , for starter we had a meat platter they were all hard and crunchy like they were getting rid of all the old rubbish the lost vile place ever also the staff looked smelly and had black nails x
Family of 4 including 2 teens visited in August 2017. Managed to get a table on Friday night but place was pretty full. Service, food and atmosphere were all good, but some of pizzas were too rich, especially the salmon one. Not the cheapest either, but you got a lot of pizza for your money.,

Hidden away in a traffic island, this is a welcoming restaurant. The food was fresh and well cooked, there was a short selection of dishes, prepared in an open kitchen. Diners could be inside, outside or on a partially shaded veranda. Staff were friendly but not intrusive.
We visited with the family for lunch. It was excellent. Very efficient service and very good food. Tartar was great and the kids Pizza was suburb. The salads and cheeses also excellent . My son and some friends went for dinner last night and really enjoyed that too.
Excellent food, good value, friendly service, varied menue with classic choices, meats, fish and pizza! Do not hesitate. The restaurant is neither fancy or candlelight romantic so you go there for good food at reasonable prices.
We had lunch in this lovely restaurant. It was a very hot day and they had misting sprays to keep the outside areas cooler. The food was excellent. Genuine homemade pizzas too! Very friendly staff who spoke English.

We ate dinner at this restaurant three times during our stay in Avignon. Each time we took the fresh fish recommendation of the waiter. The fish was a different variety every time but was delicious every time.
